One of the highlights of the day for students is meeting real, live engineers like YOU! Visioneering needs 100 engineers to serve as Team Leaders and Judges for this event.
Role as Team Leader:
- Guide a team of 10 students and their teacher through the conceptual design process.
- Assist students in developing a short oral presentation of their ideas to the judges (no PowerPoint is used)
- Serve as a mentor to the students – talk about your engineering experiences
Role as Judge:
- Serve as a mentor to middle school students, engage students
- Evaluate team design based on how well design fits given criteria
- Submit scores
- Judges will not evaluate the same team they mentor
